Canopy tours are typically made up of wider, staple suspension bridges strung at impressive heights through the forest. The option of incorporating ziplines to quickly travel from one area of the forest to another, will insert a healthy dose of adrenaline that your guests soon won’t forget! Canopy Tours are best suited for larger properties with natural features that you want to show off.
A canopy tour is also best suited for a property that has varying elevations and mature trees, although they can be adapted to just about any terrain.
Typically this experience is guided, with staff that can provide nature interpretation along the way.
Important considerations include:
- How can we best show-off the properties impressive natural features or vistas?
- Do you have staff available that can deliver interpretive experiences?
- If incorporating ziplines, then customer safety gear will be needed, however if the design is purely bridges, it can be designed in a way that does not require this gear
- Are you looking to attract educational groups, or older guests?
